Just found your website after searching for PS 77 Bronx.  I attended 1957-58 and was in the original Clarinet Choir with Mrs. Markel and then we had a male teacher, I forget his name… GREAT Program as you indicate 2 hours at least a day of music prepared me for a lifetime of musical involvement and enjoyment.

Retired from Engineering after playing clarinet all the way through SUNY Maritime College Marching Band, picked up guitar, saxophone, keyboard, and others along the way. Retired and teaching Music, started charter high schools in Arizona on Indian Reservations and now in Cook Islands, South Pacific teaching music.

Any chance of you having information, photos etc. on PS 77 during those years, class photos or other? Classmate roster?

I come back once a year, family still living in Bronx and Long Island. God Bless you and thank you for your posting.
